I think you may all well remember me whizzing by on my bright orange hybrid with Music trailing me. As many of you asked the music was coming from a product that my company developed as a result of the 2006 ALYN Ride. It’s a bike speaker that can easily attach to any bike as well as other surfaces like back packs etc. It is a great little powerful portable unit that you can place your ipod, mp4, mp3 player etc. inside the water resistant pouch and hook into it very much the same way you would earphones and play your favorite tunes safely while pedaling away. It also has a pocket for spare change and credit cards as well as a cavity to hold other items like keys. I just have to listen to my tunes. I work out and train with music, and it just seems inconceivable to me – all those miles and no tunes. The problem is, and rightly so is that listening to our music with earphones in our ears is not very smart or safe.
